The above hereinafter referred to as the “Dog” or “Puppy” and is the subject of this agreement.

Buyer shall initial each section certifying they have read and understand everything within that section. 

-The Puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale.

-The puppy has received its first vaccinations and deworming. A health record of these treatments will be provided to the buyer.

It is the BUYER’S responsibility to have the Puppy examined by a licensed practicing veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery and notify SELLER of the examination results –by email or text a photocopy of the vet visit and results. Failure to do so will deem this Guarantee null and void. If the BUYER chooses to return the pet due to a diagnosed genetic disorder, all shipping/delivery charges to return Puppy to the Seller are the BUYER’S responsibility. Guarantee is for a replacement puppy only- we do not give monetary refunds. BUYER must furnish SELLER with all supporting documents in the case of a euthanasia recommendation due to a diagnosed genetic condition. A puppy with a defect must be returned to the Seller or euthanized with the DIRECT permission of the SELLER to qualify for a replacement puppy. Replacement puppy will be one of equal value and same sex when one becomes available, not necessarily from the same sire and dam. The original registration papers are to be returned to the SELLER. At no time, for any reason, will the SELLER be responsible for any medical expenses incurred by the BUYER for this puppy.  This guarantee will be effective for one full year from the puppy’s date of birth against a life threatening or debilitating genetic disorders only and resulting in a euthanasia recommendation as diagnosed and confirmed by two (2) unrelated licensed practicing veterinarians. We do NOT guarantee against airborne diseases, demodectic mange, cherry eye, environmental/food allergies and anything that is considered “normal/common” for the breed are not covered. If you are purchasing a blue coated pup, you should understand that blue coated dogs are more prone to skin and coat problems. This is simply the result of the blue coat coloring. Additionally, we do not guarantee against dysplasia/osteochondritis such as, but not limited to, dysplasia of the hip(s), elbow(s), shoulder(s), etc. Heavy boned dogs are prone to dysplasia, and as it is a polygenic trait with an onset that is affected by environmental factors such as, but not limited to overfeeding, too much or too little calcium in the diet, over or under exercising, slippery floor surfaces in the home, allowing puppies to run up and down stairs or jump on and off furniture etc. Once the Puppy leaves our home we have no control over his/her environment.

Purchaser agrees to provide a safe home for their new pup and will not use the pup for any illegal activity. If at any time, the purchaser is found to be using the pup for illegal activity, we reserve the right to regain possession of the pup without refund. Additionally, if you can no longer care for the puppy, Seller must be notified in writing via email.

General Terms 

a.                   This Dog is being sold to the Buyer as a Companion/Pet.

b.                   This Dog may have the potential for successfully competing in Canine Performance activities or competitions as appropriate for their breed. Including, but not limited to: Lure Coursing, Weight Pull, Dock Diving, Nose Work, Agility, Rally, and Obedience. Buyer understands that Performance potential does not guarantee how the Dog will perform, or that they will achieve any titles. The Breeder has no control over the training, conditioning, and competition of the Dog. 

c.                    The Buyer accepts the risks and responsibilities of training the Dog; and the Buyer acknowledges that they have sole responsibility for ongoing, lifetime socialization & training as appropriate for its age and level. 

d.                   Temperament is a product of many things, not simply genetics, & Buyer accepts that much of a dog’s temperament or eventual adjustment is determined by the skill & patience of its owner(s) & how it is raised or integrated into the new home/situation. 

e.                    Breeder in no way warrants that the Dog will meet any specific training objective or achievement standard as desired or expected by Buyer. Goals are great things to have, but one cannot warrant luck, the future, training skill & the myriad of other things, which must be in place to achieve most goals. The accomplishments of a dog are also largely the result of training & the relationship between owner and dog. These are not things the Breeder can control; therefore, are not things the Breeder will warrant. 

f.                     Breeder shall not be held responsible for the development of any disqualifying faults, diseases, or disorders.

As the SELLER, we have cared for your puppy under the advice and guidelines of our veterinarian. Its vaccination and de-worming schedule are extensive, and we have given your puppy the best start in life possible. Our Guarantee applies to the original BUYER only and is non-transferable to a second party. We do not guarantee maturity size/color or that the BUYER will be able to show or breed this puppy as an adult. Our goal is to make sure you receive a happy, healthy puppy to love for life.  1st set of parvo/distemper vaccines have been given along with several dewormings before puppy leaves our home. Follow up shots and deworming as recommended by the breeder are the responsibility of the Buyer. Rabies vaccines are Buyer’s responsibility- to be given in accordance with your state laws and kept up to date.  Any pup that develops an illness related to lack of shots or deworming will NOT be replaced. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to keep up with all vaccinations.

By signing this agreement, the BUYER agrees that he/she understands that they have agreed to pay Jodi Rozmyn for described dog and understands this Guarantee fully. Agreement is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled; this Agreement supersedes any and all previous Agreements.
